How To Get To Georgia By Rail

From Baku (Azerbaijan):
Transcaucasus railway overnight train, daily departures, scheduled to leave Baku at 20:00pm and arrive Tbilisi 12:00 noon. Frequent stops and schedule delays are to be expected.
Silk road express overnight train, scheduled departures from Baku at 19:30pm (1,3,5,6,7 days of the week), arriving Tbilisi 09:00 am.
From Yerevan (Armenia):
Transcaucasus railway overnight train, scheduled departures from Yerevan at 19:00 pm (2,4,6 days of the week) and arrive Tbilisi 10:00 am. Frequent stops and schedule delays are to be expected.

The rail connection to Georgia from Russia through Abkhazia currently is not available.
